Director's Message

I consider the opportunity given to me to work as the Director of Fiscal Policy Institute as a privilege that seldom comes in the career of a public servant. Within a short span of its existence, FPI has emerged as an institution of repute, within and outside Karnataka. This institution is an interface between the academia as well as practitioners and the Govt. of Karnataka, specifically Finance Dept. Its primary role is to give valuable inputs for fiscal policy and budget formulation including the required reforms. It is also mandated to meet the training requirements for capacity building for effective governance and efficient service delivery. Leading such an organisation is an engaging as well as a challenging task. With your support, I hope that FPI shall meet the expectations of all the stakeholders. Read More....
